Heather joined the Blue Ridge CrossFit Family in February of 2019. It didn’t take her long to figure out that this was a perfect fit for her. The team-like atmosphere at Blue Ridge has helped Heather thrive and inspired her to come out of coaching retirement. Growing up, Heather was always an athlete. While in attendance at Catawba College Heather was a dual-sport athlete playing volleyball and softball. Heather’s past coaching experience includes 10 years as the Head Coach of the St. Michaels (MD) High School Varsity Softball Team and 4 years as the Assistant Coach of the 18U Bayside Breeze Travel Softball Team. As a coach and a middle school teacher, Heather has always wanted to inspire those around her. She loves to see others succeed and believes the lessons taught through training can benefit all aspects of life – the mind, the body, and the soul. When not in the gym or classroom, Heather enjoys going on family adventures with her husband Wesley (also an athlete at Blue Ridge) and daughters Sidney and Bella.
