"This gym is first class. I was very apprehensive about trying Crossfit. I had heard all of the bad rumors about the sport, but yet kept seeing incredible results from CFers and a strong dedication to going to the classes. Blue Ridge Crossfit had a wonderful week-long free trial (cards are available at the gym), so I gave it a shot. I tried a few classes, and signed up for the Foundations program. I never realized how unsafe I had been at my previous gym until completing this course. I was going to a different big ol' gym, using a variety of machines, and probably doing a number to my back and shoulders. The staff at Blue Ridge Crossfit teach you how to workout safely and learn the proper technique. Every class features a segment of how to perform the day's exercise with good form and with the right weight for you. Sometimes that's just a training bar made out of PVC. You don't go into BRCF and just pick up a bunch of weight. You take one step at a time, and once you learn the proper form, you are going to achieve more fitness goals than you could ever imagine. The community at Blue Ridge CF is unbelievable! The people are so nice and encouraging. Everyone is cheering you on, and helping you accomplish and go beyond your goals. I get why CF at Blue Ridge is addicting. It's addicting to feel good (and not judged) when coming to the gym. It's addicting to learn how to properly workout (rather than winging it). It's addicting to make friends who have been through the same struggles as I have."

"Wow. I have been lifting for many years. I have done an Ironman and love to mountain bike. I have never tried crossfit until today. I loved it. This place is awesome. It is the exact opposite of any gym I have ever been to. "Our family moved to Fletcher 4 years ago after my husband Rick retired from the army. In the army everywhere we ever moved to we always had a new extended family embracing us, accepting us, encouraging us and supporting us. We finally found our family when we walked in the front door of BRCF on September 1, 2014. Six months later with the support and encouragement of the amazing coaches, my new found family and changing my diet to paleo; I've lost 20 pounds, 14.25 inches, and 4 dress sizes but I’ve gained a tremendous amount of confidence and strength. I travel for work and WOD all over the country. Blue Ridge CF is one of my favorite boxes. Trainers have a positive attitude and always try to improve my skill set. I have been CFing for almost two years and they were still able to help me improve my deadlift and thruster form today. Good size box. Equipment is in good shape. This place is amazing. I've never done crossfit before but Tom is the most warm, welcoming and generous person. He opened the doors to me, let me join a class I'd never taken, and encouraged to not quit even though I didn't know what I was doing. He is a great instructor and an even better person. I am an airline pilot and travel all over the country, this is one of the best gyms I have ever been to and it is all because of Tom. If you're in the area, it's a mistake to not stop in here.

Wow!! BRCF is amazing. I live and work out of the country, but have a house in the area an return every couple of months. I recently started to cross fit in Peru, so i wanted to find a box close i could go to while back in the states. I walked into BRCF an felt welcome from the very moment i stepped into the box. The owner Tom is amazing! Extremely knowledgeable, helpful, an encouraging in all aspects of crossfit. The people / members of BRCF are also amazing; super friendly and supportive. I used to hate crossfit because everyone was talking about it 24/7 while i was pregnant but when my baby was born i decided to try it to lose the baby weight... And it Works!!! I saw inmediate results got pregnant inmediatly after that so im here for the second time working hard, my goal is to be a strong mom and i love the way im improving every day! Blue ridge crossfit is more than a facility... Its family for us ! Its a great comunity where everyone cheer you up and the best part is that the coach and current owner is an expert you can tell since day one! If i ever move to another city i know im going to miss blue ridge more than anything .. I LOVE CROSSFIT NOW.
